Comedian and presenter Jô Soares may die on August 05, 2022. José Eugênio Soares, Jô, was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1938 and has always had humor as a trademark in his works. He began his career on the screen in 1958, in the film O homem do Sputnik, by Carlos Manga. Jucelino Luz was with him twice on Rede Globo Television in a special interview, and is very sorry for the death of this wonderful person.

Later, he worked at TV Record, in several programs. At Globo, in 1970, he starred in the program Faça Humor, Não Faça a Guerra (Make Humor, Don't Make War). In 1981, he got his own humorous program, viva o Gordo.
His first job as host was at SBT, on Jô Soares Onze e Meia, between 1988 and 1999. At Globo, the iconic Programa do Jô was on the air between 2000 and 2016.
